Dos formas de decir "ya no" que se confunden por la posición. No longer es formal y va antes del verbo principal (o entre auxiliar y verbo): I no longer work here. Any longer significa lo mismo pero se usa en frases negativas o preguntas y va al final: I don't work here any longer. Misma idea (algo que dejó de ser cierto), distinta colocación según el registro.

Dos posiciones, un significado

no longer (antes del verbo, afirmativo): She no longer smokes.

any longer (al final, negativo/pregunta): I can't wait any longer.

anymore funciona como any longer, al final: I don't live there anymore.

El error típico del hispanohablante

no longer ya lleva la negación, así que el verbo va afirmativo: I no longer work (no "I don't no longer work").

No pongas any longer antes del verbo: va al final de la oración.
