Cuatro palabritas para hablar de cantidad y consecuencia que el hispanohablante mezcla constantemente. So va con adjetivo solo (so cold), pero such va con sustantivo (such a cold day). Too significa demasiado (un exceso, algo negativo: too cold to swim), mientras que enough significa suficiente — y ojo con su posición: va después del adjetivo (cold enough) pero antes del sustantivo (*enough money*).

    So vs such

so + adjetivo (+ that): It was so cold that...
such (+ a) + adjetivo + nombre (+ that): It was such a cold day.
so much + incontable / so many + contable.

    Too vs enough

too + adjetivo = demasiado: too cold to swim.
adjetivo + enough / enough + nombre: warm enough, *enough time*.
Patrón completo con consecuencia: too heavy (for me) to carry / warm enough (for us) to swim.

    El error típico del hispanohablante

too ≠ very: too cold = tan frío que no se puede (malo); very cold solo intenso.
enough después del adjetivo: good enough, no "enough good".
