    Futuro Perfecto Continuo en inglés

El futuro perfecto continuo en inglés: estructura will have been + -ing, cuándo se usa para hablar de duración y diferencia con el future perfect simple.

El más complejo (y el que menos se usa). Mira un punto del futuro y dice cuánto tiempo llevará algo en marcha para entonces: By June, I will have been living here for ten years. Se forma con will + have been + verbo-ing. Frente al futuro perfecto (que dice que algo estará terminado), este enfatiza la duración hasta ese punto.

Cuánto tiempo llevará algo hasta un punto futuro: By 5pm, she'll have been driving for eight hours.

    −Sujeto + won't + have been + verbo-ing
    ?Will + sujeto + have been + verbo-ing?

    Ejemplos

ENBy 11pm, I will have been working for three hours.
ESPara las 11, llevaré trabajando tres horas.
ENIn June she will have been teaching here for 20 years.
ESEn junio llevará enseñando aquí 20 años.

    Palabras pista

by + future time + for + durationby the time / by the end of

    El error típico del hispanohablante

Duración vs terminado: para cuánto tiempo usa este (will have been living); para hecho usa future perfect (will have lived).
Necesita for + duración: for ten years, no "since ten years".

Future perfect and future perfect continuous, diferencias

Los dos miran desde un punto del futuro hacia atrás, pero destacan cosas distintas. El future perfect simple se fija en lo que estará terminado (By June, I will have finished the book). El continuous se fija en cuánto tiempo llevará algo en marcha (By June, I will have been reading it for a month).

Un truco útil es la pregunta. Si la pregunta es how long, usa el continuo (How long will you have been working?). Si es how many o how much, usa el simple (She will have written five pages).

Los verbos de estado, como know, own o be, no se usan en continuo, así que se queda el simple (By May, I will have known her for ten years).

Future perfect continuous tense, estructura y ejemplos

La estructura es sujeto + will have been + verbo en -ing. La negación es won't have been (He won't have been waiting long), y la pregunta empieza con will (Will you have been driving for long?).

Suele aparecer con for + duración y con expresiones como by o by the time. Después de by the time va presente simple, no futuro (By the time you arrive, I will have been waiting for an hour).

En español no tiene un equivalente directo. Se suele traducir con «para entonces llevaré + gerundio», como en By next year, they will have been living here for a decade («el año que viene llevarán una década viviendo aquí»).
