Wish + would → querer que algo molesto cambie

    Ejemplos

ENI wish I had more free time.
    ESOjalá tuviera más tiempo libre.
ENShe wishes she hadn't said that.
    ESOjalá no hubiera dicho eso.
ENI wish it would stop raining.
    ESOjalá dejara de llover.

    El error típico del hispanohablante

Para un deseo presente usa pasado, no presente: I wish I knew (no "I wish I know").
Con "to be" usa were para todos: I wish I were taller.

    5. 5. I wish it _____ so cold today. I hate wearing a coat.

      won't beisn'tweren't

"I wish it weren't so cold."
